The escalating mental health crisis amongst Indonesian Muslims, typified by rising anxiety and depression, necessitates culturally resonant interventions; yet, the therapeutic potential of classical Islamic theology remains obscured by fatalistic misconceptions. This study reinterprets the Prophetic traditions (ḥadīths) on Divine Destiny (Qadar) through a critical dialogue with Hellenistic Stoicism, utilising a library research method with descriptive-comparative analysis and contextual hermeneutics. This theological framework is grounded in Qur'anic guidance, particularly Surah al-Qamar (54:49) which states "Indeed, all things We created with predestination," and Surah al-Hadid (57:22-23) which establishes the divine register preceding all events while simultaneously calling believers to avoid despair and excessive pride. The analysis demonstrates that the concept of Divine Destiny establishes a dynamic equilibrium between absolute Divine decree and rigorous human agency. Whilst revealing a functional convergence with Stoic principles, specifically the dichotomy of control and amor fati, the findings highlight a crucial epistemological distinction: Islamic resilience is anchored in Divine revelation and a Personal God, transcending the impersonal rational order (logos) of Stoicism. Consequently, this research synthesises a Contemporary Muslim Theology of Resilience built upon four dialectical pillars, offering a pragmatic, faith-based formula integrating Faith, Acceptance, Human Agency, and Divine Reliance to address the anxieties of the modern Muslim experience.
