It identifies the miracles of the Prophets and the righteous as divine occurrences, while other extraordinary occurrences, particularly those linked to unethical behavior, are interpreted as magical or deceptive, possibly influenced by occult practices. However, religion has become a basis for extraordinary claims among some Muslims and Christians alike. This research employs a mixed-methodology approach that combines qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. A total of 12 Muslim scholars and 5 pastors were interviewed, each responding to eight structured questions. Additionally, 211 respondents completed a questionnaire disseminated via WhatsApp. The instrument consisted of 25 questions, including one open-ended item designed to elicit suggested solutions. The quantitative approach provided data for statistical analysis, while the qualitative approach enabled a thematic discussion of the issues. Strengthening theological understanding - particularly Tauhīd among Muslims - could contribute to reducing the prevalence of magical interpretations of religious experiences. While completely eliminating shirk may not be feasible, increased awareness can help mitigate its occurrence.
Fatima Dabarako, Muhammad Salama Copyright (c) 2025 Fatima Dabarako, Muhammad Salama https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://uijournal.usim.edu.my/index.php/uij/article/view/584 Tue, 08 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Pemerkasaan wanita menurut perspektif hadis: Satu sorotan literatur https://uijournal.usim.edu.my/index.php/uij/article/view/569
Islam is a religion that encompasses all aspects of life. Islam has also given its followers all the guidance to manage life including in relation to women's empowerment. Although today the West is considered the champion of women's empowerment, the fact is that Islam first pioneered it. Since the beginning of his mission, women's empowerment has been one of the agenda of the Prophet's PBUH preaching. However, the implementation of women's empowerment by the West is more highlighted than what was implemented by the Prophet PBUH. Therefore, this paper reviews the literature related to women's empowerment according to the hadith perspective. This study applies qualitative methods through literature review to obtain research data, while data analysis is done through content analysis. The study found that previous studies have discussed several themes of women's empowerment from a hadith perspective such as legislation, education, social services, careers and politics. However, there are still aspects of women's empowerment according to the hadith perspective that have not been researched. Therefore, women's empowerment according to the hadith perspective should be studied comprehensively to highlight the approach of women's empowerment carried out by the Prophet SAW.

Muhammad Adam Abd. It suggests that a sizable portion of the Malaysian population still lacks takaful protection. Although numerous studies have examined the factors influencing participation in family takaful products, a systematic review of this specific research topic has been challenging due to the lack of review procedures, which hinders scholars' ability to replicate or interpret the results. Therefore, this study aims to perform a systematic literature review on consumer participation in family takaful products. The review processes involved five fundamental methodological steps: formulation of research questions under the guidance of a review protocol; systematic search strategies based on eligibility, identification, and screening in several reputable databases, including Scopus, Emerald Insight, and Google Scholar; quality assessment; and data extraction and analysis. Five main themes were also identified based on 23 past empirical studies, including consumer behavioural predictors, religiosity, products and services, trust, reputation, and image, as well as antecedents of behavioural intentions. These five main themes uncovered an additional 19 sub-themes. Notably, this study fills an existing gap by systematically consolidating past research on the determinants of family takaful participation. The findings offer actionable insights for Takaful operators to enhance their product offerings, improve consumer trust through transparency and ethical practices, and integrate digital solutions for improved accessibility. For policymakers, the study highlights the importance of financial literacy programs, regulatory incentives for product innovation, and public awareness campaigns to enhance takaful penetration. These contributions offer a strategic roadmap for strengthening the family takaful industry and fostering higher consumer participation.
Mohd Faizuddin Muhammad Zuki, Razinda Tasnim Abdul Rahim, Nur Syamilah Md Noor Copyright (c) 2025 Mohd Faizuddin Muhammad Zuki, Razinda Tasnim Abdul Rahim, Nur Syamilah Md Noor https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://uijournal.usim.edu.my/index.php/uij/article/view/647 Wed, 16 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0000
